These terms cover this site, which is a preview of a marketplace that has not opened. HoofnHorn, LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company, publishes it.
Nothing here is a marketplace. You cannot buy, sell or bid on this site, no account exists, and no money changes hands. When the marketplace opens, full terms covering listings, bidding and fees replace this page. You will be asked to accept those terms when you create an account, and they will not apply to you before then.
What this site does
It describes what we are building, counts down to opening, takes an email address if you want to be told when that happens, and takes an enquiry if you are interested in the affiliate program. That is the whole service.
The notification list
If you give us your address, we will email you once, when the marketplace opens. We are not promising a date. The countdown on the home page shows the date we are working towards, and a launch date is a plan rather than a commitment. If it moves, the countdown moves.
Give us your own address, not somebody else's. You can leave the list at any time by writing to support@hoofnhorn.com, and the launch email will carry an unsubscribe link.
The affiliate enquiry
Sending an enquiry is not an application and does not enrol you in anything. It starts a conversation. The program's published rates are on the affiliates page, and they are what we intend to offer, not an offer we have made to you. Nobody is accepted into the program, and no rate is agreed, until the marketplace is open, you have an account, and you have accepted the affiliate agreement.
What is on the page
We have tried to describe the product accurately, and the fee model in particular is stated as it is designed. It is still a description of something being built, so details can change before it opens. Where they change, this site changes.
The photograph on the home page is a synthetic image standing in until we have commissioned photography. It is not a real farm, a real breeder, or an animal that is for sale.
Using the site
Please do not:
- submit an address or an enquiry in someone else's name,
- attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site,
- copy the HoofnHorn name, wordmark or page text for your own commercial use.
The text, design and marks on this site belong to HoofnHorn, LLC.
No warranty
This site is provided as it is. We keep it accurate and available and we do not guarantee either. To the extent the law allows, HoofnHorn, LLC is not liable for any loss arising from your use of this site or from the marketplace opening later than the date shown, or not opening.
Governing law
North Carolina law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. There is no arbitration clause here, and none applies to you unless and until you accept the marketplace terms at launch.
Changes
We may update this page, and the date at the top will say when we last did.
